Yep, chisel tip all the way. Also, I ordered my Hakko last year and got a coffee mug with it.

You can put a jack on the nut on the inside of the enclosure to keep the jack from protruding as far out.

Older thread, but regarding mod 2, you could use an intelligent relay bypass. It works like a regular relay bypass, but you can also use it as a momentary switch. Hold it down while it’s off, and it switches on momentarily. Hold it while it’s off, and it switches on momentarily...

Are the LPF and HPF all the way open? Or are you rounding out the tone a little more?
