    Can Daisy replicate Digitech FreqOut?

Seems doable. How? Not sure yet. The following is pure speculation. It would take me some iteration to try and find something that imitates it well. Also, I only watched a 1 minute video of this pedal. We have an onset, I assume it’s controlling the attack on an amplitude envelope, or doing a...

Well That's One Way To Hide An IC

    Some possible 14-pin ICs from the CD series CD4069UBE CD40106BE Honorable mentions, but 🤷‍♂️ CD4047BE CD4007CN CD4013BE

    Quicklime Girl

Here’s chuck’s thread about this circuit: https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/this-week-on-the-breadboard-the-quicklime-girl.28098/post-364039 I like it- I can get that blown-out sound, and the gain stages provide a variety of tones. It was fun with a tele. Thanks @MichaelW for the board!

    MultiBand-Distortion

That’s really cool. Do you dig the sound? Lots of trimmers! Do you know what you have the bands tuned to, or is it just whatever sounded good?

    Save Cart function?

It doesn’t, unless I’m just special. I hit order on my cart to double check.

    Save Cart function?

We don’t have to pretend I wasn’t a bit snarky- I was triggered.😅 Y’all don’t need the side effects of my burnout spilling into here. Other software developers can probably relate. Off-topic, apologies. Let me try to get us back on-topic- Being able to save multiple carts would be really...

    Save Cart function?

Yeah, Digikey does have that. But they also have more than one employee, which PPCB does not. Also sure you’re not a product owner or stakeholder? Those are the people that assume something is simple to do without knowing how the current codebase is implemented.😉 I’m being facetious here, but...

Stuff you wanted to know but were afraid to ask

First thing that comes to mind is ducking. Personally, I sometimes use side-chaining on the bass guitar, triggered by the kick drum, so that the kick is more defined and prominent in the mix. It can be cool on guitar solos with lots of delay, where you apply the compressor to the wet delay...

Latent Lemon Hurts (Modded Harmonic Percolator w/ octave down) Schematic

What do you like to use for R1 and R4? I have a Backbone PCB.

Stuff you wanted to know but were afraid to ask

Yep- probably not the right thread for this- I’ll just go into the troubleshooting subforum the next time it happens.

Stuff you wanted to know but were afraid to ask

Ok, here’s one I’ve been kind of afraid to ask… When I’m breadboarding, and I try to make a transistor-based circuit, it fails just about every time. By that I mean the audio signal passes through with little change, or it sounds weak. I do your typical troubleshooting, like check the pinouts...

Boss DM-2 what resistor sizes needed?

The MBP Aquababy uses 1/8w, but it also fits in a 1590B, which is a bit smaller than a boss pedal. https://madbeanpedals.com/projects/_folders/Delay/pdf/Aquababy24.pdf

DEMO Star Wars Theme 6-Loop / Midi Switcher + Midi expander

This is awesome. And exciting to see someone pull off a diy programmable loop switcher. So clean, inside and out. I like your design choices for functionality. And the UI is fun with all those animated transitions. I have been working on something very similar, off and on. 4 audio loops, MIDI...

Multiple PCBs in 1 box w/ wired pots - secure PCB with velcro?

I have used dual-lock for this and it worked well. It was easy to pop the boards back out, and easy to snap in. Dual lock is more expensive than hook and loop, but superior in every way.
