    Clang Pedals Recommendations

At the time I built it, I wasn’t aware that this was something to consider. I must have gotten lucky, it sounded the way I expected with the first ones I grabbed and put in there.

    Best Clean Fender AIAB

The C2CE Particle Accelerator has quite a bit of clean headroom. From the docs: https://c2celectronics.com/product/particle-accelerator-pcb-set/

    Clang Pedals Recommendations

There’s definitely some subjectivity here. The way I see it is, not necessarily high gain, but more-so the effect is producing enough upper harmonics in a way that they are creating an audible dissonance.

    Clang Pedals Recommendations

If you’re wanting to get into that territory, a wave folder is another to consider. There’s usually a sweet spot in-between “normal” sounding and white noise. The Prunes and Custard is kind of a tame version of, but cool in its own way. The Unpleasant Surprise also dips into this territory...

Moon Electronics Lofo Brofo - help with wiring needed for a newbie

The illustration in the build docs could certainly be better, I think it looks confusing for the folks who need it. So I’m going to layer another crappy drawing on top. Basically, the positive from the jack goes to the 9v pad and the current limiting resistor.

    What's on the workbench?

Welcome. This thread is like the Trenton toll bridge coming from Philly. It’s a trap. *The* workbench is the pedalpcb workbench (there is another thread called *your* workbench)

    What's on the workbench?

A.D.I.D.A.Y.A.T.S. Corn Pedal Cornfused And this is the ‘Head’ pedal. I wonder if the Munky pedal is actually different, or just a colorway.

    PPCB Ungula (EQD Hoof)

Nice. I’ve been a fan of large first row, smaller 2nd row knobs. Looks classy. This pcb has been in my box for a while. But I started populating a War Scythe so I’ll get to it one way or another.

    LLMs and KiCad

That right there touches the fundamental rub. If you know what you’re doing, then you can use it to develop quicker. If you know what you’re doing, it’s because you put in the work and like doing it. If you don’t know what you’re doing, you can probably get something to work. But then the slop...

    LLMs and KiCad

Looks like some pretty big leaps in automated PCB design. Makes me wonder if it will generate a whole new crop of YATS peddlers peddling their pedals, similar to the pandemic boom. https://eebench.org/blog/can-ai-design-circuit-boards-yet/

    Sproing Deluxe… done.

I think this post is the closest you’ll get to build docs. https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/build-docs-for-sproing-deluxe-reverb.15768/#post-182671
