another route without soldering paste is tin one of the pcb pads for the component... then apply some no clean soldering flux.. the kind that's thick and comes in a tin to all the pads for that component.. place component with tweezers... heat the one pad to make it stick to your tinned pad...
Correct..I guess he still wants the option to mute for tuning… People are weird.. I don’t ask why..🤣… Most good tuners have buffers.. I know my polytune does.
And the other request was a footswitch for muting…. I’ve not ventured out into point to point… I’m still a paint by numbers guy in my journey. Maybe the kliche buffer is where I should be going since the pcb already has a switch implemented
Buddy is asking me If I can build him a buffer box for the beginning of his chain that he can plug guitar in and has two outputs… mainly so one output goes to an always on tuner and the other output goes to the rest of his signal chain… I’ve never wired something with two outlets so I have no...
No idea really what went wrong but I bought 3 new pots and a switch and rewired everything and it's perfect now.... measured the pots after I took them out and they were fine... No idea what I had wrong but at least it works now
Thats whats driving me crazy... yeah the jack ground is connected to lug three of the volume pot... tone knobs work... I just ordered new pots and a new switch again.. they starting to look ratty after rewiring a couple times... so im gonna start over fresh
