Adobe Illustrator reference point

hey guys,
I'm trying Adobe Illustrator for a month and I've a question.
The reference point for drilling with Tayda is always the middle.
How can I make my reference point at Illustrator in the middle ?
My reference point is always on the top left (0/0).
I really hope, that you can help me. I can't find it.

Drag guides from the rulers to mark the center (Illustrator will indicate the center and lightly snap to it). Then, drag the top left corner area of the rulers to the center point. It will snap too. You can check it by putting guides on the sides of the box and making sure their distance from center match (+/-).

I use Visio, which also has an easy way to do this. But being a math major, 50 years ago, I always use X,Y 0,0 as bottom left as is done in Trig when unraveling a circle into sine and cosine waves..... When I was in school we used graph paper and a pencil to graph quadratics..... :ROFLMAO:
