Hi! I just built this, and it was giving me fits. Thanks to your photos, I see that my BC550Cs were upside down (relative to the PCB screen), and problem solved!

How did you go about dialing in the trimpot?

The pulldown I added removed the pop. To address the interference I have a couple of spare large caps, I think - so I'll try that. Thanks!

These were my third and fourth builds, respectively. SEABED Had to go back and reflow the in/out joints - as I got it to work at first, but then it went completely silent even in bypass. I'm glad I got the helping hands with the magnifying glass! Way easier to see bad joints. I ordered a bunch...

Is one method preferred over the other? I'm asking because I know I have extra 1M resistors to make a pulldown, but I'd have to order more 1u MLCCs. I may have better electrolytic (as in, not from Tayda) as well.

I got some 3PDT Breakout Boards for some builds, but looking at the wiring diagram, should I not use one for the Kliche Mini - since it only looks like it needs an SPDT?

Hi! I'm looking at building this one, and I was wondering what you chose for your Ge diodes - if you don't mind me asking. I was going to get a 1N34A and a 1N270 and mix them - but not sure if they should match.
