Cross Contaminator - Transistor Leg Placement

So by the look of the board it’s looking for a TO-92 style transistor (from what I can tell) but the only 2N1711’s I found are TO-39. Are there any charts for where the legs should be? I’ve had to reverse legs before depending on the pinout. Ideas/thoughts?

Thanks

There is a picture of each PCB on the ordering page. Sometimes the silkscreen has component values, sometimes it has ref des. Sometimes the board layout gets updated and the pic on the ordering page does not (example: Parentheses 2020 ed.), so be careful when using the pic as a reference. Sometimes you're not just the board assembler, you also have to be the manufacturing engineer.

Builder's Tip: Scan or photograph the component side of the bare board as a reference because a) it may contain information not in the build docs and b) once the parts are installed, most of the silkscreen will be covered up.
