So I bought a 1590cb wondering If i could ever use it for anything. When I was buying EEPROMS from MAS I saw their stomp fuzz and never having tried SMD soldering before, I said what the hell.

Was the build successful? Yes. Was it scary? Hell yes. I was not worried that it wouldn't work or that I would make a mess of things.

I was fucking scared to breathe. Below is a picture of the diode. Notice you can see better detail in my fingerprints than the actual diode. You can tell from my sweaty hand that the words "don'tbreathdon'tblinknosuddenmovementsandfortheloveofgoddon'tsneezeohgodyouhavetopoopbadHOLDITHOLDITHOLDIT were on repeat.

Here's the final result.

A massive bowel movement occurred after completion and it was a massive relief.

I then googled 1590cb builds and shot my confidence down seeing a guy fit an entire memory man into one of these things.

This is awesome! I still havent found a circuit to fit my 1590cb!
There are a number that likely could. Fitting things into the 1590lb (I thought it was cb) is not too bad so long as you carefully measure.

Not pooping while handling SMD components was the problem.

A Google search will show that I have a long way to go cramming 1590lbs.

Well done! Fitting anything in a 1590lb takes careful planning. I have seen the memory man in a 1590lb, it’s dumbfounding. I struggle with 1590a projects, so anything in on of these is impressive

I was looking at these MAS boards the other day as as start into SMD.

What does it sound like????
Like a fuzz with two resistors, three capacitors, a diode, and npn transistor? I cut a quick clip for you using this guitar I just completed. 25.5" scale length and EMG 81/85 into the Stomp Fuzz going straight into an old Hammond tube amp converted into a Marshall 18 Watt style amplifier. Recorded straight into my laptop with a Shure microphone.
