Substitute for a 2N5457 on a Pro-10 build (odr-1 circuit)

I'm sure this has been discussed, but I didn't find it anywhere.
Building the Pro-10 finally...sad I know lol.
It calls for a 2n5457 as a buffer, which I do not have. Curious if a 2N5458 could be a substitute as I have several of them.
It would be nice to put at least one of them to use. Lol
Thank you for your time.

Substituting similar series JFETs (5457, 5458, 5459) doesn’t always work in my experience. My layman’s understanding is that they present different impedances and turn on with varying voltages (increasing with the numbers, so a 57 turns on ‘easier’ than a 58). Layman’s understanding, please bear in mind. Suggest you socket the transistor in question so that you can swap it out later if it doesn’t work first off.
