SOLVED Nutty Fuzz: Feedback distortion on bypass

Just built the Nutty Fuzz but its exhibiting problems. When on bypass, it exhibits feedback and distortion. Even weirder is that the knobs affect the feedback, which is really odd. When engaged, it feels like it doesn't want to work properly. I feel like there's some sort of bleed-through between engaged and bypass. I wasn't sure about the switch hookup but used a Germanium II Distortion and Breakstreet Overdrive as reference. I'm wondering if the wiring for this one is just wrong.

That footswitch wiring is probably supposed to work for buffered bypass pedals, look up any true bypass wiring diagram in the pedalpcb build docs or just Google.

Saw that in one of the diagrams. Will try that. But it does make me wonder if this board is outfitted with a buffer and, if so, why isn’t it working?

Doesn't help that there's no designations on the board what is what. Original pedal is according to the website true bypass.

This one has a unique wiring scheme, I'll have a diagram ready shortly.

It's true-bypass, the extra pad mutes the oscillator in bypass.
