VTL5C10 - Help!

Hi folks! I ask for help with the following question:

I bought a vactrol on ebay to build a Compulator pedal, but the description on the component is VTL (it is not clear if it is the VTL5C10 or VTL5C1). Is there any way to know which component it is? Some way to measure?
When I connect to a multimeter, it will increase the resistance and never stop at a value.

I hope you can understand my question, because I am using a language translator. Thanks!

Perhaps this chart will help you sort it out. You should be able to measure the difference with a DMM. The VTL5C1 measures ~50M Ω (dark) and the VTL5C10 measures ~400K Ω (dark).
