Propolis fuzz and octamayer octave fuzz builds

Made those about a month or so ago, now I can post some pics :p. Both very nice octave fuzz pedals, but I really got a soft stop for the Propolis ^^, I think being a white stripes fanboy maybe is affecting my judgement :)

Added just a volume cut pot at the end of the propolis just to make it easier to get unity levels.

Solid work, can you explain/draw/detail how you popped in a "volume cut pot" into the Propolis?
Yeah it's real simple. I just used a a100k pot. You just got to hook one lug on the "out" pad of the PCB, one lug to ground and one lug to the out jack.
I don't remember exactly what lug goes where xD when I did it I used alligator clips to test everything before soldering :)

I just bought a propolis board and was thinking about breadboarding so i could add controls too. Really like that volume idea. Really cool builds

I did ask on a other thread for this but never followed through, I was kinda curious what the original TMR version sounded like. It's a modified version of a old octave fuzz circuit so this might be a good place to start if you wanna give it a shot

I believe it's lug 3 to out pcb, lug 2 to out jack and lug 1 to ground but I could be wrong :/ I would use alligator clips beforehand just to be sure !
I'm thinking about trying your Propolis volume pot mod, and I'm VERY new to all this. I'm still at the point where I'm not sure where the three lugs on the pot physically connect to... So Lug 3 connects to "Out" at the bottom of the board (which is also connected to the footswitch)? Similarly, Lug 2 connects to the Tip of the Out Jack (which is also connected to the footswitch)? So far this is probably ALL wrong, but in addition I'm not sure where Lug 1 would physically connect to Ground (at the bottom of the PCB again?). It's this type of situation that will shed light on all sorts of things for me, although it is hilariously misguided at the moment... What can I say? I'm learning quickly but still a dum-dum. Thanks for any clarification!
