Quarantine fuzz build

Here's another one I made a while back, the quarantine fuzz ! Such a nice PCB and big muff type fuzz. Looking at the raincoat schematic I only saw a 100nf to 10nf change, I should have socketed that cap just to see if it makes a big difference :p

Nice build. A great sounding pedal, even in stock trim ;). Much more open sound, less compression and congestion compared to a Big Muff. Better Tone control too.

Not sure which cap you're talking about. It's the same schematic and BOM as the Raincoat. C6 is 10nF on both schematics. Each stage is current-driven with no limiting resistors, so coupling capacitor value makes a big difference.

You're right I thought that C6 was 100n xD I must have not looked correctly ! And yeah it is a awesome little fuzz :p I mostly build nowadays just because I love it and I really enjoy trying out new circuits, so I mostly sell my builds on reverb... To buy more pcbs and build more pedals xD it's like a feedback loop :p but this one i haven't listed it yet, don't know if I will ^^ I am digging it but we'll see ... I don't really play anymore :/
