I thought I saw this on the wish list before, but I can’t find it in the search.

This is my number one drive pedal. For those who haven’t tried it - it’s very versatile, great overdrive sounds and great fuzz sounds when cranked. The bias control is lets you get a gated fuzz when cranked or acts as a kind of texture control at lower gain levels.

It’s my favorite and I’d love to make a clone! I know the owner of the company has been open to clones and has even mentioned putting out a PCB himself, but I think that was quite some time ago and never materialized. Anyone else out there interested?

This is actually why I never touched it, but it's been a while so I just might have to see what I can do.

The person who runs SS/BS is really chill— I’m in a few Facebook groups and a discord server with them. I wouldn’t doubt that they’d even be willing to send you the schematics so you don’t need to trace anything

Brian may have already sent the schematic out into the DIY-wilds; at least, the schematic I have says "schematic courtesy of brian from smallsound/bigsound".

Don't know if he's changed anything in production from that schematic.

I looked inside mine yesterday for the first time and it blew my mind. The way he crammed in into that enclosure and still kept it neat is insane. Mine is from 2012 and has a mix of metal film and carbon film resistors apparently

Just did a little Google-fu. It appears that Brian from Smallsound/Bigsound did post the schematic at Freestompboxes, however, the image is no longer available.
He also mentioned making some PCBs for DIY. I don't know that it ever happened though.
