Anyone know where to find this part?

I’ve seen a few production pedals that used a bent metal piece that keeps contact with the lid when closed up.

Project thread - designing and building pedals with a band for charity

Yep, they were on Dr Strange. I remember going down those lists and just buying random 7”s that I read about in MRR and waiting a month for them to show up. Thats how it worked back then!

Project thread - designing and building pedals with a band for charity

I’m going to use this thread to document the design, production, and results of this project. I approached some old friends who’ve been playing since the 90s in a Chicago punk rock band the Bollweevils. https://chicagoreader.com/music/the-bollweevils-pop-punk/...

Can someone help me understand the Capacitor values on these pcbs?

And there’s really no reason to have any zones there at all. Should be only traces the way the person laid it out.

Can someone help me understand the Capacitor values on these pcbs?

Ya, all the grounds are just connected together, which is fine. Keeping the rest of the copper doesn’t do anything really other than it going down the drain in the production process and making more work for the designer.

The 472 is 4n7 and 473 is 47n That’s the way you’ll find them written in the caps themselves usually- the third number denotes the number of zeroes that follow 472 = 4,700pF = 4.7nF 473 = 47,000pF = 47nF
