Just Google audio probe and it will come up with tons of options. They can be made with spare parts you probably already have or can get fairly easily along with a guitar cord you don't mind sacrificing. Its a pretty useful tool if you are going to continue building pedals.

Do you have an audio probe? If so you can follow the signal path of the audio based on the schematic to see the exact point where the signal significantly drops.

Is this for the guitarpcb mini me chorus? If so, the 1N4148 must be used with the 3207 chip only. The jumper instructions are silk-screened on the board it appears. This pic is from the build documents.

Good clear pictures will help the group if you would post some of both sides of the board for diagnosing.

I have given it another shot. Hopefully this works for my Benson clone. I think this is what is killing my tone. Here's to hoping!

I may go that route. I have the boards and the SMD's but there has the be a trick to getting these miunted and not burn off a leg.

I tried the surface mount way and burned legs off a few of them. Its really frustrating.

Has anyone tried building this board? I'm comparing the silkscreen on the board to the BOM and can't even find R1 or R2. Also the board shows an R20 resistor but it's not on the doc. Do I need new eyes or am I missing something?

So by putting the resistor There like you did, what does that make your pot value? 64k?

I built the abider and used the B25k. I didn't notice any big difference but maybe I don't have trained ears :)

Has anybody built the mammal and felt it lacked low end? Is there any way to increase the bass in this circuit?

Has anyone ever used these before? Info is pretty hard to find on these but I got them from stompboxparts.com just for poops and shoots for a tone bender clone. I know they are low gain but I'm curious about pin out as the lack any markings aside from MP35 and "8808" stamped around the top. Also...

Also you might might look into cleaning up your board a bit with some alcohol and acid brush just to eliminate any small chance you might be getting continuity where you aren't supposed to. Don't forget an audio probe is a great friend.
