Very true. Still a student though in the baby steps of building. This is only my 5th complete build.

With the help of fellow members Mcknib, I now have a new audio probe and a working simulcast. Talk about a win win! Thanks again for the help.

Thank you again for the help. The audio path tracing led me to 2 cold joints on my transformer. Reflowed and fully functional now.

Looking to make an enclosed audio probe and am looking for some inspiration/insight. If anybody has done it and can share I would be very appreciative. I have what I think is all the material to put together but need some direction.

Will do. I think I have all the parts how critical/or required is the .1uf capacitor? Can other values be used or is that the magic value?

Reflowed those points and still no change. Audio probe in progress. I'll have to order parts so it will be a while as I'm in remote usa

Yes pots do act properly when rotated. Overall sound is just really low. I'll reflow tomorrow and report back.
