    Yes volume is low throughout entire rotation. The transistor is a mullard oc71 from digikey if memory serves me right.

    Yes it clears. However I did notice that the green wire going from my footswitch to board isnt all the way thru the hole on the board. May need to reheat and coax it further through. Would the burnt insulation have an impact?

    Yes works bypassed but sounds really low volume wise when engaged. I'll get pictures of the back tonight.

    Thanks up front for any help. Everything works but it is super quiet even at 100 percent on the knobs.

    Thanks for the replies. I should have referenced I am curious about the 470p capacitor below the chip. The screen printing references positive but the PCB is the square cathode hole.

    The board calls for 470n electrolytic but all I have is a 1u, would this be too much for the circuit?

    How about for c100 on the Tweed man overdrive? Also is it bad to use a value larger in its place?
