Low Tide Modulator Mockup Pedal - Arriving Soon!

B1M was an acceptable replacement then? If Banzai is the only location available, i'd rather grab some B1M from Tayda than have to pay shipping from europe to Japan just for a pot or two...

Trembling Loon: Replacing Trem 'Silence' with Additional Input

I have no technical help to provide with this. But since a tremolo works by modulating the volume, what you are really looking for is something or some way to modulate a signal blend, right? Would that even be moddable, or require an entirely different circuit design.

    Parentheses Fuzz

Thanks Chuck, your posts about the Sea Monk and Circulator convinced me to pick up those circuits. Looking forward to getting to them soon.

    Parentheses Fuzz

Thanks! Not knowing the drill size needed for the footswitches, my labeling was a bit too close. But not horrible.

    Parentheses Fuzz

Had the board sitting around completed while I tried to figure out the artwork. Finally, after rewatching some old Godzilla films again, I found a great artist named Attack Peter who does woodcuts of pop culture monsters. Woodcuts being a cousin to etched metal printing, these types of images...

    Deflector

I've been curious about the cricut. My printer still leaves some pinpoint holes in the toner that lets through the etching fluid, so the idea of using vinyl stencils was intriguing for some of the simpler designs. I haven't pulled the trigger on one because i've been worried about it not being...

    Elk Big Muff Sustainar

Haven't had a ton of time with it as I finished it pretty late into the evening. But it's definitely got it's own character with that tone knob change. It'll be fun to see the differences once I finish the other two variants and the op-amp muff.

    Elk Big Muff Sustainar

Bought 3 big muff circuits to make the Mask Us, a Green Russian and after seeing Nostradoomus talk about the Elk Gakki clone, I went and did some research and found that one of my favorite guitar players, Wata from Boris uses one. Super simple build to knock out while watching American Gods...

SOLVED No output from Duo-phase, Phaser B

Using an audio probe, I traced the signal loss to resistor 29b (560 ohm) the phased signal comes off of C14B, but doesn't leave R29b to the output. I replaced it with a tested one, and still no luck. Phaser A's equivalent R29A works just fine and that side of the phaser functions as normal...

    Arkaim Fuzz

This was one of the first builds I ever did, when I was buying kits from Musikding. It is indeed a monster... Probably one of my favorite fuzz pedals, which means I should probably make more, haha.

Last two builds of 2020 (Deflector Reverb and veroboard Lastgasp Laboratories Rattle Crow)

Yeah, it's definitely an "atmosphere" type reverb. I plan on lending it out to a friend to use with his synths in exchange for some recordings of the results, lol.

Last two builds of 2020 (Deflector Reverb and veroboard Lastgasp Laboratories Rattle Crow)

Yeah, I barely remember the first exhibit I saw of his back then, but was lucky enough when a museum in Tokyo held an exhibition of his lifes work. It was amazing. I listen to a lot of noise bands, so I can definitely see the Rattle Crow being used in that sort of situation. It also doesn't...

Parentheses Mini Fuzz build issues - pulsing?

Can't really offer troubleshooting, but I do have a suggestion for future builds or if you want to clean this one up. I learned when I first started that twisting the ends of my wires and then tinning them makes it both easier to thread them into holes, but also avoids any stray strands from not...

Last two builds of 2020 (Deflector Reverb and veroboard Lastgasp Laboratories Rattle Crow)

2020 ended for me with some frustrating debugging still left to do. But the last two I boxed up with artwork finished were the Deflector Reverb, which is pretty nuts, especially compared to my Spirit Box. The Rattle Crow was my third veroboard build, as you can probably tell from the mess of...

Delegate compression LED not lighting up.

I get sound in bypass and when the effect is on (level knob works great!), but I wasn't getting any compression. I noticed the LED didn't seem to be illuminating when i opened it up. When plugging in the dc jack, it initially lights up, but then fades, and no signal seems to cause it to...

Deflector Reverb (hiss as density knob is turned ccw)

update: after running this on my board to see just how obnoxious the hiss is, i happened to make it go away from the signal when it was run into my rat pedal with distortion off, volume and filter maxed. If that helps with diagnosing the issue. I also tried swapping the TL072 with a 22 given...

Delegate Compressor (Boneyard Edition) optional diodes D6 and D7

Answer Looks like I was wrong, but thankfully found the answer while looking through all the posts about the delegate, lol. But figured I would link this for anyone else who might have the same question later.

Delegate Compressor (Boneyard Edition) optional diodes D6 and D7

On the silkscreen they are D6 and D7. but on the schematic, they look to be D1/D2, Am I correct in thinking they are indicator LEDs for the compression ratio?

    Monarch

Thanks for this! When I was first starting out last year, Stewmac had the official board kits for some of EQD's stuff. I almost grabbed a Monarch but went with the White Light. Then they all sold out before I grabbed any others.

Deflector Reverb (hiss as density knob is turned ccw)

Good morning (for me that is) everyone! I just finished the Deflector reverb and it sounds great, minus one issue I encountered. When density is closest to 7 o'clock, there is a loud hiss introduced to the signal, and gradually diminishes until completely gone around 4. It's more noticeable as...
