A few thoughts.. Do clipping diodes to ground instead of Vref. Add 100n caps at the V+ to gnd at each op amp. Increase C14 to 47u.

Yup, this was a much better course than I was expecting. It'll be the one I suggest to folks starting out.

I try my best to not have them but I haven't seen anything that says having them is bad in a simple audio circuit. I'd be more worried about running audio signal traces right next to power traces. However, I'm sure someone will correct me now that I've said something. :)

Of course! This was a really great layout and I love the bypass switching using really common ICs. I've been digging into using the 40106BE to handle two bypass switches since it doesn't use all the pins for a single one.

Way back when @MattG posted his original build of this, I asked for a PCB of it which he graciously sent to me. After getting all the parts, it went together very quickly which is awesome but I dilly dallied on the faceplate and getting an enclosure for it... thanks to life and work getting in...

Real cool! Do you just use/expose the copper layer to give you that second color on the faceplate?

I just ran across this course from Pedal Division, it's much more inline with what I believe the Wampler Course should have been. He even goes into SMD and layout templates, etc. it's also only $60.

The face disaster is fun with the multiple starved.

Nice! I've got a few pedals that have an LDR in them that you can interact with to mess with a parameter or two on the pedal and they're a ton of fun to mess with but I could never see them being used in a live setting. I'd probably replace or augment them with an LFO if I were to ever play...

I've used Warmoth necks on three guitars. They're an awesome choice for the money and you can customize it to your liking. I say go for it!
