Not especially. I just found a great deal on those Nichicon caps, they’re almost too big really. Would have preferred to have 25 watts but I think I got these for 6 cents or something silly like that. Some builds with charge pumps might require a higher rating but 16 is fine and 25 is high...

Mostly shopped Mouser..if there’s something specific you can’t find I’ll try to remember.

That’s cool...super hard to capture the effect on a photo. The one above has holographic glitter in it that shifts from green to blue to gold. Theoretically you could mix a chameleon pigment into the epoxy for a color shifting finish.

Thank you...this enclosure was done pretty half-assed. I worked around the pots and switches with the epoxy. Definitely easier to do the enclosure before the build.

What made this one sound better?

another epoxy finish. This time I tried embedding holographic glitter and glow-in-the-dark powder into the resin and let the LED charge it. Looks pretty cool but the resin didn’t seem to really harden and it’s been about 5 days. I should have used the UV LED but I had already installed the blue...

Just mixed them in before applying. Sparkly bits raided from my wife’s craft supplies.

Thank you! Nothing much different. Waiting for a few finishing touches (different knobs and a big purple nut for the stomp). Pictures don’t really capture the holographic glitter too well. Sparkles pretty good in person.
