I've noticed that the default KiCad grid sizes are in metric values (2.5mm) rather than Imperial (2.54mm) so standard DIP footprints (and others) aren't lining up with the grid. How are you folks working with this? Rolling on with 2.5mm or adding a 2.54mm grid option?

Hypothetically speaking, if we were to combine the Pharmacist and Beatle Juice projects into a multi-channel combo, would you prefer: 1) Drop the Boost footswitch from the Pharmacist and keep the project in a 1590BB enclosure? 2) Keep the Boost footswitch and move up to a 1590XX / 4S6500 enclosure?
