fuzz circuits here that use OC75 and would be good with the russian tin can germs

I suppose the trannies are interchangeable and only need biased or a change in resistors or something I'm not super knowledgeable about.

fuzz circuits here that use OC75 and would be good with the russian tin can germs

The Tone Bender here uses OC81 so maybe not exactly old school? I don't know but those ussr old stock germ oc5 are plentiful. I built a tone bender years ago and thought it was really nice sounding. should I be looking for another build that is more interesting in some way?

Stockade Boost switch missing diag. jumper?

Just wondering if the wiring diagram is missing the Diagonal jumper on the Boost footswitch or if my switch is bad. I have funky function with it, does not always engage, light volume, needs jiggling. Someone saw it and mentioned it may........ Thanks

    NKT275's

I did not the price was too high for me without knowing more. I am still looking for a matched set for reasonable money for one fuzz. The BART trannies are fantastic, though in the fuzz I have

    1981 DRV (Informant)

first I'm seeing this post. Sounds like really great mods for this pedal. I built the standard PCB and don't really understand the technical aspects of these mods or how to do them but they sound extremely useful in expanding this circuit. It's a great sounding RAT to begin with, the tone...

    NKT275's

yes, I'm after some of the russians too, but I'd also like some 275's as well. thanks for the numbers. Is this going to apply to all germanium sets, no matter type?

    NKT275's

Ah, it uses GT402 Barts. Not sure which 402 though. like I said, pretty impressed with it. Correction, a B ad an E It pushing a Dumbloid clone or a Clean Drive clone is immensely satisfying.

    NKT275's

Cool, thanks for the info. Not that I have much of a source, just might be able to get some for affordable prices. Still, it would be more than I'd like to pay for a pedal part. The Fuzz Face I just purchased is just so great I need to make them

    NKT275's

Knowing little about vintage transistors, if one would find some of these that are neither red nor white dot and test good, is it to be expected that they will work fine in a fuzz circuit? Provided they could be had for not terrible money, is it worth it to spend a little extra to have them...
