Installed it backwards based on the schematic without thinking. It should be installed in the opposite direction as the other 2 diodes in series. Lights up very bright.

Just got done finishing the build, sounds great! I was wondering is the blue led suppose to light up? Mine doesn't and looking at the schematic, maybe the blue LED is backwards? I used 1N4148 in series with the blue. sounds great regardless but I was just curious.

Did you only use a single 9V, from the pic that's what it looked like. The youtube demo had 2 in series. I wonder what the difference would be, maybe faster etching?

Ok thanks for the input, looking more closely on their website it looks like they have generic no name or Royal Ohm. I'll give Royal Ohm a try next order. And for about 1 cent a resistor who cares.

I just recently purchased a variety of parts from them and very pleased with the quality. That being said, how's the quality of the metal film resistors? Are the leads super thin and cheap or anything like that? Asking for a friend.

Thanks! Yeah I know the feeling, I have about 7 others in queue. I believe I got the knobs from smallbearelectronics but can't remember since it's been awhile and I repurposed them.

I'm very happy with the sound so far, only got to quickly test it with a strat last night but I'll be putting it through the paces tonight with different amps and humbucker guitars. It's very versatile and I like the amount of gain on tap. I didn't experience any unwanted oscillations or other...

Thanks, I appreciate that! Me too actually, I definitely took my time. Did the layout in photoshop, having a border helped make everything neat and straight. I soldered the pots to the pcb first, then with the toggle switches already screwed into the enclosure, I put the pcb with pots already...

Finally got this project done, first time experimenting with water slide decals. I'm very pleased with the results and it fired up upon testing!

You won't know til you try. I would try it before I drill the enclosure for it, that way if you don't like it you didn't waste an enclosure.
