Caesar Chorus - Zener diode alternative?

I recently ordered all the parts I needed to assemble the Caesar chorus project, only to discover that I had forgotten to order the 9.1V Zener diode. Are there any common diodes that I could substitute?

    +1 for this, too.

    EQD Erupter

I recently built an Erupter from this PCB: https://pcbguitarmania.com/product/volcano-device/ It sounds pretty killer and also adds a volume trim pot (which I connected a board-mounted pot to because not being able to adjust the level on the fly is just dumb imo).

    Moog MF Drive

I'd buy one of these in a heartbeat. I used to own the MF Drive a few years ago, but sold it out of necessity. And now they're like $300 since Moog stopped production. I've looked around for a schematic online before to no avail. If this doesn't end up becoming a PedalPCB thing, could you post...

    Pinetools

Thanks for posting this. A lot of the math/programming tools will probably save me a few minutes of writing a Python script in the future. If you're looking for a simple/free vector graphic editor, the best option is probably Inkscape. It's essentially to Illustrator what GIMP is to Photoshop.

I need a new step bit

When I first started drill enclosures earlier this year, I got a set from Neiko on Amazon with 4 step bits and an automatic center punch. Both the bits and the punch function and have held up quite well being used with a mediocre old corded drill. IMO the thin aluminum walls of a pedal enclosure...

    Unused pedals

Thanks for delivering! Generally speaking, guitar pedal circuits can't be patented (they're not nearly novel enough technologically to warrant design patents), so there's no legal issue with posting stuff like this. That's why places like PedalPCB can sell PCB's or Behringer can clone other...

    Unused pedals

I'd love to see the PCB of the Julia if you still have it. I've wanted to build one but have never found a schematic for it online.

War Scythe "Cleft Mod" - Which diodes do I replace?

My 2N1308's are really old US military surplus, so the leakage definitely makes sense. Thanks!

War Scythe "Cleft Mod" - Which diodes do I replace?

Also, for what's it worth, I used to own an actual Cloven Hoof (V2), and in addition to the component changes listed in the War Scythe/Ungula build docs, the Cloven Hoof also has different pot values than the original Hoof for Level and Gain. I think it's supposed to give it a wider gain range...

War Scythe "Cleft Mod" - Which diodes do I replace?

I built the War Scythe a few months ago and am currently converting it to the "Cleft" version since the 2N1308 transistors I used initially for the Hoof part of the circuit weren't well-matched and sound particularly fizzy. My question is: the build doc for the War Scythe doesn't individually...

FV-1 Development Kit - No wet signal

I recently built the FV-1 Development Kit, and it powers on and pass dry audio through the volume/mix knobs just fine. However, whenever I write code to the EEPROM and the try to play guitar through it, all I get is that dry part of the mix. The build itself is neat, and there's no noise or...

    Earthquaker Devices Night Wire

I was just about to make a post for this, so I second this suggestion. Particularly since I don't know of any other harmonic tremolo PCB's available here or anywhere else.

That makes more sense now. Thanks!
  18. ridgedchips

What does the "SW" header do?

What does this pad connection labelled "SW" do exactly? I'd like to know since I'm retrofitting my Dirt Transmitter (which I built with a PCB from effectslayouts.com and thus lacks this particular connection) with a PedalPCB Relay Bypass Module, and so I need to figure out how to compensate for...

    Relay Bypass Circuit microcontroller

The store page for the Relay Bypass Circuit says that it includes a "pre-programmed microcontroller". Is that the ATTINY85 IC that's shown on the image of the PCB? I just want to make sure so I don't end up needlessly buying those IC's when getting components.
