Spirit box / ghost echo - no wet signal

I wrote a big post explaining what I've tried and checked, then realised I've plugged into 18v. I'm not getting any wet signal. Have I fried my belton? Anything else that might be gone? I've replaced IC3 and IC6 and I'm still only getting a dry signal. Thanks.

    Amplifier Options

I currently have a 15watt Line 6 spider that I've probably had for 15 years and it doesn't play nicely with pedals. I'm wondering what my options are if I only want to spend a few hundred USD. I've had a few thoughts and I'd like other people's input. I've thought about going for a pedal in a...

    Wah pedal front

I'm looking for options for the design area on the front of a wah enclosure. I've thought about getting a sticker made or doing some PCBs with the silk layer having something on. I've been looking for somewhere that could etch some acrylic but not having any luck. Does anyone have any other...

    Tear Jerker parts

I don't really know anything about wah parts. I'm looking to buy the inductor + wah pot from banzai https://www.banzaimusic.com/Wah-Inductors/ https://www.banzaimusic.com/Wah-Pots/ Is there a difference in quality/tone between say a Dunlop part and a no-name part? Do I have to go for a 500mH...

    Diptrace Best Practices?

I'm trying to get into diptrace and I'm wondering about best practices for routing. I'm starting off by trying to make a test board. I've laid out my components. I did my ratlines next. How bad is using the auto tracer? I tried it and it seemed fine but to be honest, I'm not sure what is good...

    XC Phase Trimpot Value

https://docs.pedalpcb.com/project/XCPhase-PedalPCB.pdf I'm trying to figure out if I can change the 250k pot to a 200k pot since they're available on Tayda. It looks like it should be okay but I thought I'd ask here first. Cheers.

    Angry Andy isn't from Doncaster

I've fancied an Andy Timmons drive because I like Marshalls and this seemed like a cheap way of getting close to that sound. I bought a board for me and one for my brother. We were coming up with ideas for the design of his and he thought something related to where we grew up since we both moved...

    LCR-T4

I'm looking to match some jfets for the upcoming phase90 and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience using the "lcr-t4" tester to do this. It looks like it can measure a lot of things which would be nice as my multimeter doesn't measure capacitance, but if it's not going to work for jfets I...

    Drone Pedal - Arachnid

I've been asked to make a drone pedal and I'm hoping to use an arachnid I have and just swap out to whatever eeprom. I'm not really sure what a drone pedal is, is it a reverb that doesn't pass the dry signal through? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Checking what kind of sound I should be getting out of the Mini Heterodyne Receiver

I've finished my build, but I'm not exactly sure I'm getting the sound I'm supposed to be getting. I've watched these videos and to me, they sound much better: and this one: Am I just not dialling it in correctly or have I done something wrong? I feel mine sounds a lot more "corrupted"...

    Fume Extractors?

I'm getting a sore throat every time I solder. I made a little DIY fan with a "filter" with the goal of at least blowing it away from my face but it's not great. I was thinking of connecting a long tube to the back of it and putting that outside the window. Does anyone have any other solutions...

Signal generator / audio probe / amp

Before I start making something myself, I was wondering if something like this already exists. I'd like a signal generator with an audio probe, that also has an amp with a speaker or headphone jack so I don't have to have my guitar and amp plugged in to test things. Does anyone know if there are...

Cutting the dry signal on a reverb pedal

I'm looking for a reverb pcb that allows you to cut the dry signal somehow. I know the spirit box/threeverb/spatialist etc let you adjust the wet/dry mix, but I'm wondering if 100% wet means 0% dry or if the dry signal is always going to come through. Thanks.
