    Another J201 Thread

J201s are readily available on Mouser, now: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/106-J201 I had previously got some J201s on ebay that may not be real, but they definitely worked when I used them. So *shrug*.

    Walrus Eras

Does anyone know anything about the Eras? Has anyone traced it yet? I'd love to make a clone of it but its so new there is still zero info out there.

Drill templates will be available soon

The front template is awesome, though slightly less useful since I'm always including a drill mark on my graphics anyway - though those not printing their graphics obviously don't have that luxury. If you do another run of these in the future, maybe it would be worth marking each hole with a...

    6-Band EQ for BASS

Oh, I got it. 1 octave centered on the frequency you're adjusting. And yes, I should have specified 1/4 of A2 and not just "an A" I get it now, and this will help a ton. I'm going to breadboard this thing to dial in what I like. Thank you for the help!

    6-Band EQ for BASS

First, let me say that I love that you reply with one BS reply and then follow it up with a real one :D Okay, I get it, I think. So, instead of cutting 100Hz and ONLY 100Hz, you cut 100Hz and a certain amount above and below that value. Is that right? EDIT: Just read the article. Awesome! And...

    6-Band EQ for BASS

Can you explain what "Q" is?

    6-Band EQ for BASS

I want to use the 6-band EQ for bass, but I assume the frequencies chosen are more treble-specific. What would you guys recommend changing to make this thing bass-friendly?

    Black Tiger Boost

LOL such an obvious thing I totally missed. I seriously thought you were talking about the TV show... DERP.

It's the Spirit Catcher, a sculpture in my home town. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirit_Catcher Thunderbird?

    Black Tiger Boost

Here it is! My boost pedal. I've had this knob sitting in a drawer for about a decade and finally decided to use it for something.

    SOLVED Black Tiger Boost Issues

Redid the jumper wiring, no issues now. Yay!

    SOLVED Black Tiger Boost Issues

Looks like it's related to the jumpers from the main PCB to the 3PDT PCB... EDIT: Forgot to mention, once I got it out of the case and got it to where the LED isn't lit up while off, the boost worked perfectly.

    SOLVED Black Tiger Boost Issues

I was pretty sure this was the simplest build on PedalPCB, and yet here I am with another failure. First thing I noticed was that my bypass light was on (though dim) as soon as I applied power. It brightens when the switch is pressed, and then dims again when the effect is turned off. If I...

GIMP is like building a thermo nuclear reactor in complexity

I'm Adobe Illustrator all the way for my graphics. I actually use Photoshop pretty rarely in comparison.

Illuminated 3DPT breakout board on PCB w/o LED mount

No resistor necessary, your PCB already has a resistor for the LED. If you're using the LED breakout board, you simply need to jumper where the LED goes on the PCB.

    Missing Build Docs / Schematics

Definitely a good call. I was confused with my first build as well.

Makes sense! So I'm free either way to relocate things without an issue... most likely :)

    Mouser Project Lists [Suggestion]

Agree - I've seen a few build docs before that have a "shopping list". Very helpful!
