470R+39R close enough for 510R ?

Hello,

Since I know nothing, I'm asking.

In the Zapper, we need a 510R resistor at R13. https://docs.pedalpcb.com/project/Zapper.pdf

From my reading, it looks I can use a serie of 470R+39R while waiting for the real 510R to be delivered.

Is it stupid or risk of damaging anything? My instinct tell me it's ok but I prefer getting serious opinion from here first.

It's tied to a pot, so you could probably get away with using just the 470R

I agree the 470 R is an OK substitute.

Yeah I either used 470 or 560, can’t quite remember...sounds fine either way
