A 50K for gain and freq

I only have B50k pots on hand but the BOM calls for A50K for the gain and frequency pots. Would installing the B50ks make much of a difference?

B50K instead of A50K Pot?

The Apple Fritter calls for an A50K pot for the Fuzz. Can I use a B50K pot instead? Is the only difference audio vs linear? Thanks!
