Probably the easiest thing to do for a power indicator is to have an led on the breadboard, long leg to the 9v supply and short leg to ground, use a current limiting resistor in series with the long leg if you don't want it to be blindingly bright. I'm stumped for wiring a bypass indicator on the breadboard though. Otherwise it seems like you'd have to remove the 2pdt toggles and do some drilling, being careful not to cut any traces and then use 3pdt toggles with the indicator LEDs wired under the board on the extra pole.
