Aion Andromeda Deluxe

Finally back at it! This is an ODR-C clone built on an Aion board. My first Aion build, and I see why lots of folks complain about the wiring for them. Still was pretty painless overall. It sounds great! Definitely going to take me a while to get used to the various eq and compression knobs.

I just ordered that board today, and am really looking forward to it! Get the manual from the Norland site if you haven’t already. Nice looking build!

I've never come across any complaints about the wiring — what's the problem?
The way the breakout board is configured is a bit of a pain. Not a huge deal, but I don’t like the way that the in/out jacks have to cross under the short jumpers or else be run under the middle of the board. Also wish there were dedicated pads for the ground wire of the jacks like PedalPCB typically has.

What I don't like about the N1-sized Aion projects is the footswitch-daughterboard is it's HUGE!
If I want to add a mod that needs to be on another stomper, what then? The stomper-PCB takes up all the space.

Other than that, I think the Aion offerings are well researched,
sensible mods/updates are made to older circuits to bring them up to modern standards,
and the build docs are well thought out.

Overall I'm quite happy with my Aion purchases.
