API compressor and GTR pedals

Maybe there is enough interest in a pcb for the new API pedals. It would be cool to have a build with a transformer.

Made a list of all the transformer-equipped projects here, because when you search the PPCB shop for "Transformer", the only thing that comes up is the Fasel Inductor Adapter. The Simulcast and Duocast do not come up in the search, not the Mystery Machine, Conquerer nope, nor does the...

As for the API, I'd be more interested in the LLX Bass pedal, but alas, it and the two guitar pedals (CMP and GTR) use a:
"Signature API output transformer", which I don't think API sells separately.

The bass also utilises a "Proprietary API 2510 OpAmp".


Could it be cloned to "close enough" specs?

The tranzformer pedals are very interesting projects. They don't contain many parts, but the transformers and the discrete opa are a little bit expensive. But real worth to built, because out of production.

That side power jack would have to be moved the top. Audio side jacks....whatever.....power?....GTFO

I have a pair of these new ones. I've been meaning to take them apart and poke around.

At +18v they have a ton of headroom and sound really open.
I didn't find running them at +9 and clipping the opamp to sound very nice.
