Just stumbled across clips of this relatively new release from Way Huge. I'm a sucker for synthy sounds, and would love to see this in the shop

So ... when it comes to us, will it come with regular pots (the sensible thing to do) or will it come as per the original with sliders?

(The latter being the fun thing to do, especially if Tayda has the drill co-ordinates...)
 
At this point I have absolutely no game plan for this one. It's a pretty big circuit so would likely have to go in a fairly large enclosure to begin with.

Slide pots basically force stacked PCBs on anything but the simplest design (or oversized enclosure), and this circuit would already be pretty dang big with through-hole components.

Long story short, I have no idea. :ROFLMAO:
 
Since it will require a larger enclosure anyway, you could make all the internal controls external, and maybe give the option of making the octave and phaser footswitchable 🤷‍♂️ . Perhaps with pads for expression control over the phaser's speed or something?
 
We've got some great SMD Pot up here in Canada, come visit...
I mean, not that I partake, just what I've seen advertised.
