Hi guys & gals, I would love some feedback, the obligatory I'm a newb and wanting to learn more.
I am going to build the Cataclysm for a friend and I want to use one of those Bi-Coloured Illuminated footswitches from Tayda - https://www.taydaelectronics.com/illuminated-push-botton-foot-3pdt-bi-color-red-green.html.
It appears from the datasheet that it is Common Anode with Pin 3 being the Annode leg.
I have this 3PDT wiring board that I impulse purchased for this idea purely on the bi-coloured LED input without really looking into too much.
It states the middle pad is the common annode in D1 so I would connect that to leg 3 of the footswitch. Not sure which pad to the green cathode side to for effect bypassed and the red cathode side for effect engaged, but can play with that easily enough.
Also on the board connections for the Cataclysm I assume I just ignore the SW connection?
To power the 3PDT board I assume I just connect it directly to the DC jack like I would for the main board?
Would the DC Splitter work well for this? Does anyone have a picture of one they have used (I'm a visual learner)
How would you neatly mount this board when using the below DC jacks?
Cheers!
