Boneyard Delegate Compressor

Seems like I always end up building pedals in spurts. 3rd one in the last two days. I’ve been motivated to finish filling out my board.

This one was a Boneyard Delegate. I couldn’t ignore my need for a compressor on my board, so I went ahead and and dug the pcb our from the bottom of my ever growing pile of pcbs.

I did of mixture of art styles with the graphic. I did a waterslide for the labeling decal. Clear coated if, then taped it off, and did alcohol inks for the paint. The did several more layers of clear coat.

It’s strange. I’ve never used a compressor before. It’s subtle but really noticeable all at the same time.

Those alcohol inks look really great, are they hard to do?
They’re super easy. Just kind of start dropping different colors until you have it the way you want. If it gets too dark, drop white in and add more color in. Once it’s the way you want, then do a clear coat. I did my broadcast like this as well.

I noticed you used a clear LED. What LDR did you end up using?
I did that part of the board so long ago that I can’t quite remember. I do remember being confused at to which one as the guide said ldr but didn’t specify. And tayda only had two different ones. This is probably something I should know, but I haven’t quite graduated past the ‘follow the ikea instructions’ phase of pedal building
