Booger [Boogie Monster]

If you happened to read @Billyhank 's TS thread with his build, then the title may make sense. If you didn't...why the hell not?

The only mod I ended up doing was @Chuck D. Bones suggestion to re-route C11 to ground, which lowered the noise floor (thank you sir!). Final biasing was done with a heavier hand to taste than measurement.

The TMB seems weak to me, but I haven't really experimented with different amps, pickups, or how it might react with other pedals.

Here are a couple pics. Forgive the flux, I didn't get around to tidying, however I did take time to "boogerfy" C11.

Nice work!

A few thoughts on the weak TMB...
  1. If you jumper pin 2 to pin 3 on the MID control, it will become a Fender-style tone stack. At low MID settings, the BASS control will have more leverage.
  2. While you're messing around with the MID control, remove R20. That lets MID go higher for less scoop.
  3. The PRES(ence) control loads the tone stack. Make C18 smaller or the PRES pot bigger.
I know the first two will work because I've done it on other pedals. The 3rd one should work, but I have not tried it.
