Boost to pair with Thermionic/BE-OD

A friend of mine has asked me to build him a BE-OD, but he wants a boost after it to give him 10-15% more for solos etc. I'd prefer single knob and not too much colouration, so which boost would you suggest? It's going on its own footswitch after the BE-OD circuit.

You could vero a LPB-1. That’s the most simple circuit I can think of. PPCB I would suggest the black tiger. It’s a pretty transparent opamp booster. From the schematic, it looks like dialing the boost all the way down produces unity gain and goes up from there.

Another idea might be to build the BEOD Deluxe. Then you have two channels.

Otherwise I might suggest the Dark Esbat or Hudson Broadcast.

The Transcendence would be perfect for this. Really good headroom, changes sound (next to no tonal shift, keeps dynamics consistent with playing, and very low compression) less than any other pedal I’ve tried.
