Knocked out another Caesar this weekend for a friend. Went with my gut and boxed it up off the jump and threw it on my board to test and adjust trimmer….. No workie…. Only had bypass and clean signal when blend knob counter clockwise… damn. Looked over all values diodes caps and confirmed everything correct… Ok.. I have 2 other sets of delay IC’s…. Tried another set…. No dice…. Threw in the next set… no dice… what the hell… pulled out of the enclosure and Inspected back of board…. Flip it over and you know what I find? The 3102 chip I installed the IC chip backwards 3 times in a row…. Sheesh man…. Flipped the chip… boxed it back up and she fired right up… even had the trimmer in the right spot… adjusted it a tad… Viola. Sounds pretty good..
