Chaos Machine - tick tick tick

A'ite. Anybody here come across the chaos machine ticking issue in bypass and figure out a decent strategy on how to minimize it?

Ideas: I have some shielded pushback wire that I can use on the input and output...as well as some braided copper sleeving. I could wrap the expression pedal cables in the sleeving, re-run the input and output wires in the shielded pushback wire and terminate both shields at the input/output jack rings.

Build a couple of faraday cages, around the signal wires and the most problematic elements generating noise. Basically. But....

I've read a little something about part of the cause here being due to the fact that I'm feeding it with a high impedance signal...directly off the BKP black dogs in my HH tele.

So...I've got a ton of room in the enclosure here...plenty to build a buffered bypass.

What say ye? Anybody figure this one out and feel like sharing?
