Using the REF-DES of the FabTone since the Grunge schem doesn't have any:
INPUT-Switching is quite different, so moving forward from C1...
C7 off IC1a: GRUNGE 100p / FABTONE 120p;
C11 IC1b: GRUNGE 1n / FABTONE 50p;
ORDER of C12 & R16 are swapped, but same values between the two circuits (unimportant);
C21 IC3a: GRUNGE 120p / FABTONE 50p
C29: GRUNGE 15n / FABTONE 12n
C30: GRUNGE 330n / FABTONE 1µ5
R39: GRUNGE 47k / FABTONE 470k
Gate of Q6 — this is getting back into the switching, I think, and they do differ — however...
C13 is still in the audio path: GRUNGE 220n / FABTONE 10µ
Other unknown(s): Grunge's clipping diodes unspecified (1N4148 in Fabtone)...
So, all in all some mildly differing flavour points up until you get to C30 and R29 — those two will have a significant impact on the tone, I would think. I might have to build up a hybrid that has the Grunge's larger feedback caps right up to C29, but takes the Fabtone's phat-C30 (I play bass).
I don't have a GRUNGE to compare the trace-schematic, but I do have the FABTONE so I should probably see if it compares favourably with what looks to be the factory schematic presented — Someday...
