EHX Satisfaction Plus

Despite what the name suggests, the original satisfaction fuzz is apparently a Jordan bosstone with some slight tweaks. Great sounding pedal though.

EHX just came out with an upgraded version that seems like it would be a fun one to build

The Satisfaction is a nice little fuzz. The updates make it look a lot like the KMA Fuzzly Bear.

The original Satisfaction Fuzz was a modded Jordan Bosstone that had some unpopulated spots on the PCB for basically modding it back to being closer to a stock Bosstone (basically adding the hard clippers back in, and adding a cap)

Installed just the “+Bass” cap on a friend’s, and it made the Satisfaction sound *huge* (although, notably, still nothing like the fuzz tone on “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” lol)

Wonder how different or not this one is from the V1

EDIT - watched the demo, dig it but still doesn’t sound much like the Stones IMHO

I wouldn’t mind taking one for a spin. Demos are rarely helpful to me. Could be fun.

if it’s still based around a bosstone it would be easy enough to tweak values for a subjectively better sound

Same but this is a dangerous trap. I assume the demoer is playing it in a stupid way but usually it turns out I just don't like whatever piece of gear
