Emu amp sim question

Hey gang, I’m in the process of building the Emu. I’ve done my homework and I understand that the slide switches need to be elevated a bit off of their pcb’s as to not conduct between the metal body and the elevating pins. Back to the metal body now. I’ve opted to not use the face plate because I’ve never been much of a fan of face plates. I’ve cut the slots in the enclosure. My question is this.... do I need to keep the metal body of the switch isolated from the enclosure itself or is the body of the switch a ground and therefore okay to be in contact with the enclosure. Thank you so much in advance.

I haven’t built this myself, But my understanding is the switch body won’t be connected any of the switch lugs. So, having the switch body contact the enclosure should pose no problems.
