After some screw ups on my part with the EV Mini, it worked marvelously. (Note to self: just because you sorted resistors correctly doesn't mean you still can't screw it up, so always double check their values before soldering). You can find some gut shots here.
Then I got around to building the Sasquatch II from Effects Layout which is a Green Ringer and hybrid Big Muff with a treble and bass tone control. This one had an issue with the board itself having input pads reversed which slowed down the completion time. I socketed the Ge transistors so I can switch them out since I'm sort some NPN Ge transistors and put some 2N2222 in there for the time being.
I went completely brutalist on the Sasquatch II build other than the purple LEDs chosen by my four year old daughter so it's pretty.
I'll give five stars for the EV Mini because it really was a great build and would have been a no issues build had I paid better attention.
The Sasquatch II I'll give a 4/5 cause of the screw up with the wiring and nothing in the documentation about the issue. The circuit itself is pretty fun for a Big Muff.
For the demo, I decided to not go with power chords but with a blast from the past.
