The Fairfield Circuitry Four Eyes Fuzz is a must-have pedal for the true six-string adventurer. This thoroughly original design takes inspiration from audio crossover and parametric EQ circuitry, applying those ideas to a fuzz pedal with badass results. The heart of the Four Eyes is a variable filter that splits the guitar signal into 3 bands, all relative to a center frequency, as selected with the FREQ knob. The split low pass, high pass, and band pass filters are then fed into their own parallel JFET fuzz circuits, with gain for each controlled by the Lo, Mid, and Hi knobs. Tones are further shaped with a resonance switch and a very potent volume knob. You can manipulate the unique circuitry of the Fairfield Circuitry Four Eyes to generate low-frequency seismic disturbances, ultra-sonic squeals, mid-boosted telephone fuzz, or even a classic, fat fuzz tone, if you're into that. Plug in an expression pedal to control the FREQ knob on the fly, and you can get some great filtered fuzz wah sounds.
Some crazy sounds coming out of this
