Favorite Vox in a Box PPCB's

I've been on a amp in a box preamp kick. What are some of your favorite PPCB boards that are Vox-voiced?

I only have experience with the Pop Top Boost, but it seems to do the job.

Haven’t tried it yet, but eventually I’ll make the Acetylene Overdrive.

Having never played an actual vox I can’t attest to its actual “voxiness”, but the Acetylene is a pretty good sounding pedal and the top boost can peel out your inner ear. The Pharmacist was pretty meh for me, not bad, but not terrible either. IF I were to build it again I would move the eq trimmers to external

acetylene definitely. But my favourite is the deadendfx Terrahawk just cause I’m always shooting for Rory Gallagher with that sound

I have an AC30CC and decided to try the Joyo AC Tone into various PA and other small amps and I could never get it to sound convincing at all. The ACTone is supposedly a dead-on knock off of the Tech21 Liverpool.

The Vox sound is mostly in the power amp. Top boost is just a little eq on a normal channel.

I havent compared it to the real thing. But just in general I dig the sound of the cobbler

Cobbler is pretty solid. I did end up replacing mine on my board with a Vox Mystic Energy pedal which uses a nutube and seems gimmicky but actually sounds great.

But until I acquired that, the cobbler did the trick for me.

I first made the Cobbler as soon as it became available. On most days, it is my favorite pedal. I think the tone of the gain is fabulous. I find that most pedals just have one sweet spot for the gain, but this pedal is fantastic through the whole range. With that in mind, I wanted two settings for the gain. I used the 2 knob job from GuitarPCB and hooked up the gain to it. Now, I can have gain 1 on a low setting and gain 2 at full throttle! It is a fairly easy modification, but needs careful arrangement of the off board wiring.
