S slowpogo Active member Mar 30, 2021 #1 Lots of builds specify ceramic caps when the value is in the picofarad range, 330pf etc. Why is this? It's usually easy enough to find a film cap of the same value. Is there any harm or disadvantage to using a film cap where a ceramic is specified?
