So, I gave away my first frajeelay build, and just built myself a second. Same issue as the first: the blend is very anemic. Further proof that I suffer from "that's just the way it sounds-itis"
@DGWVI threw down with the knowledge and I executed on both builds. Lift pin 13 of the TL074, solder a 47k resistor between the pin and the socket. On the pin-facing resistor leg, branch solder a 4k7 resistor to a 1uf film resistor to ground.
Works very well as expected, 12:00 is about a 50% blend, full CW is full clean, full CCW is full effect. I do get some clipping strumming hard into full clean blend (full CW), but I don't imagine you are building this one to enhance/allow your cleans. I initially grounded the 1uf cap via pin 2 of the blend pot, but I changed it to the input ground to reduce noise/clipping.
