SOLVED Help with my ugly Greengage build

Hey this one I need help with. Greengage, my 2nd build. I didn't wanna paint or drill when I ordered the enclosure, so I ordered the closest one I could, then make the pots/switch fit with hookup wire to the holes. I now realize its easy to drill and not ruin the paint.

I tried it outside and inside the box, making sure wires weren't touching. It turns on, lights up, the knobs function, switch functions, but the sound is all scrambled every setting. It does react when I strum, but like a bad Bit Crusher or Korg Miku pedal. Also at one point i noticed that only one of the two red LEDs was lighting up. Very frankenstein looking build i know, thought this would work.

Anyways, I haven't started troubleshooting yet because i only know the basic concepts. But today I will:

I will try to measure all values that i can. Resistance, caps, what else?

I will try to check continuity. Black probe to a ground point, and red probe touching around for beeps, right? Is this the same as a simple audio probe I hear about?

Thanks y'all

It was IC! I put a TL072 instead of TL1044! Duh haha

Like my first pedal the other day, i turned it on last night... nothing. But i simply didn't put the IC's in the sockets out of excitement. However, this time I put 3 TL072's in, when i needed one TL1044 in there! Now it works great as far as I can tell.
