JHS Violet Lari Basilio Signature Distortion

I’ve been a fan of Lari Basilio for some time now. She has a great lead tone. In the video, Lari says that she has used a prototype of this pedal on all the music she’s put out in the last couple years.

It seems like it has a pretty usable range of gain, and pretty versatile tone controls with a pre-gain mid control.

The voicing, compared to JHS’ other distortion pedals, sounds more open and pleasing to my ears:

Yup! I'm already very impressed by this pedal. It's really versatile, going from low-gain (the "clean stratty thing") to tight, hefty guitar hero lead tones. REALLY COOL! Since tomorrow's election day, I'm gonna vote for the Violet multiple times.

It seems like the hard drive but with the haunting mids circuit in front rather than after. But curious as well.

She reminds me of Andy Timmons with a Vai esque tone. I added her albums to my library and forgot all about it until now.
