Maleficent Mids "We're Halfway There"

This is version 1 of this board and really brings out the mids, I guess that is what is meant to do.

It's sort of my secret weapon these days but I use extreme settings. With the Mids and Sweep knobs almost maxed and the Range switch set to low it adds a good bit of boost to the "sparkle" audio range. I use it when using a guitar with passive humbuckers and it allows me to get a thinner and brighter sound when the volume knob is rolled back. Gives me a great range of clean to edge-of-breakup. Behind a compressor or overdrive it punches thru a mix without sounding annoying.

On an electric 12 string it's amazing.

I am wondering if there is big difference between v1 and v2...
