I would be interested in the nocturne pedals. Like the atomic brain or the barnyard. I only know the brain seltzer and have no experience with the other pedals as they are simply not offered in Europe. And a blind order across the ocean seems to be too risky for me.
Just my opinion but the Nocturne pedals are more about the look than the sound. I bought a Brain Seltzer off him when they first came out, as I was playing a Setzer Sig Gretsch at the time in a rockabilly band. Magic mojo sauce? Nah, just a bit of extra noise. So deflated! It's just an inexpensive transistor preamp which does absolutely zero "tonewise" and just adds some white noise. I have tried building my own just to see if the original I bought was faulty - no, it worked just fine. And added nothing to my sound.
So that has put me off spending any more money on Nocturne products. Anything else he offers can be achieved with better pedals.
Hi! First post here so I'm introducing myself :D . I'm not a guitarist (booo!) but I'm interested in guitar FXs, sound design and audio DSP. Lately I've been using a modeling tool to generate audio plugins from schematics (like a simplified spice
The Brain Seltzer is a Roland Space Echo preamp. That's all it is. It's not a cool mojo-saturated Echoplex preamp. It's about the blandest preamp you could ever design. Fine for a Space Echo, not much for anything else.
To be fair, OP was specifically asking about any other Nocturne pedal except for the Brain Seltzer. But then it's not a great request thread anyway since it's vague and unspecific.

Thanks Fama. You're the first, who is able to write and read: I would be interested in the nocturne pedals. Like the atomic brain or the barnyard. I only know the brain seltzer...

Happens to all of us, part of the reason I'm trying to read things more thoroughly is exactly because last week we spent some extra time at work on things because we didn't actually read the documentation, just skimmed it and missed the important bits.
But what I mentioned still stands - requests which are sort of vague like "I'd like some pedals by X company" don't usually lead to results. You'll get a much better response if you make a thread about one specific pedal, and include a good description and demos so that other people also get excited about it and you get posts and upvotes.
Well my comments on the Brain Seltzer were because that is the only Nocturne pedal I have personally tried. But it was enough to put me off buying anything else from them. I like the concept of the Barnyard but if Nocturne produce pedals like the Seltzer then I am unwilling to try anything else. Maybe the Barnyard will be amazing, but from my experience with them I doubt it, as explained in my original post.
Here's my first contribution to the forum. This is the Octal 21 with a couple additions. Special thanks to @Chuck D. Bones for checking my work and making recommendations along the way.
