Oasis tone and volume not doing anything

This is my first completed build.

Everything else seems to be fine with the pedal but i can't hear volume or tone pots doing any difference to sound. Drive works as it should tho.

I measured the pots multimeter and get reading out of them so they are not broken.

i got the level to work by resoldering it, I think i ruined the pcb on the tone part. Those small metal rings came out of the pcb and now the solder wont stick to the pcb anymore.

Is there anyway to get this to work or shoudl i just get completely new kit?

You could rig it up with a fixed resistor somewhere, your tone would never be able to change but the pedal will still work.

I would recommend buying some prototyping or stripboard and really work on your soldering before attempting another project...you’ll thank yourself later on!

Buy a new board. This was your practice run.
If the pads are lifting off of the board, then you are using too much heat. You cannot leave the solfdering iron on the board for long periods of time. Where do you have the iron temp set?

I run mine at 400C to 425C, so you're in the ballpark. Maybe nudge the temp up a little higher.

I had to edit this post, I really do know F from C.
